Data integration can be described as the process of combining data of multiple systems at the same level. For example, data integration between an ERP and a CRM system could focus on synchonization of all customer information in both your CRM and ERP system.

Data Aggregation

During the installation of the DataSource Integrator no programming is required, only configuration steps are necessary. Moreover training will be provided for at different levels, with a certification program.
The information on data integration and aggregation processes are easily obtained and modified by means of a user friendly interface.
Provenance: keep track of the mutations of every object
Provenance monitors the movement of every data object in the DataSource Integrator and which functions were applied to the specific data object. It creates a log containing the complete history of all activities of the DSI.
It is not possible to rewrite the history, integrity is provided. In the authorization model it is possible to determine who can look into the history, this can be done on different levels, confidentiality is guaranteed.
